Fuel Wood Sale 2011
Fuel wood permits for 2011 are sold out. Please check back next August for information on next year's sale. General Information Locations for the wood sale pickup are dependent on Open Space forest management activities. Decks of timber produced from thinning activities will be made available for fuel wood at an economical cost to the consumer and provides Open Space with a mechanism for removing potential wildfire fuels from the parks. Permit holders are required to have their own chainsaw or saws, fuel, appropriate tie-downs or covers and a truck/trailer. Four-wheel drive vehicles are recommended. JCOS is not responsible for equipment or vehicle damage incurred while on the park and while gathering firewood.
