Seasonal Closures - Centennial Cone Elk Range Trail and the adjacent area is subject to SEASONAL CLOSURE from January 31 to June 15. Closure has been lifted at this time. Reference park map for affected area. To buffer human contact within the elk's winter range and calving grounds, Open Space occasionally implements a seasonal closure. Seasonal closures may occur during the elk calving period to insure that a certain portion of the park has minimal disturbance by humans.
