Jefferson County Open Space was created in 1972 from the hard work and vision of volunteers. Contribute your talents and energy and join an established program with 400 active volunteers.

Other Opportunities

Volunteer Trail Days (Saturdays) and Mini Crew (Thursdays after working hours): Work in groups alongside knowledgeable staff members. Bring a friend, family member, group or come alone and meet new people.

Group Projects: We'll coordinate projects for groups of 10 or more. Through forest stewardship and clean-up projects, you’ll build camaraderie and better parks for today and tomorrow. To arrange, call (303) 271-5992.
