For dogs that are healthy, socialized and responsive to commands, the Elk Meadow Park Dog Off-leash Area is where fun is unleashed, friendships are forged and canine companionship flourishes.
Our 107-acre dog park features 3.2 miles of trails, including:
• A 0.8-mile, crushed-gravel loop with gentle grades (Waggin’ Trail), accessible for people with disabilities
• Two fenced-in areas totaling 6 acres where dogs can socialize and romp
• 2.5 miles of natural surface trails for extended hikes
Please pick up and dispose of dog waste, stay within park boundaries and keep your dog within sight. Be aware that elk occasionally migrate through the area. Dogs must be able to respond to commands.
Required: current tags and proof of vaccination.
Prohibited: sick, injured and aggressive dogs.
Send comments and suggestions to mcox@jeffco.us and sign up for our dog park mailing list. Volunteer to be a Park Patroller or Host. Volunteer for clean-up or improvement days.
