• Northeast Comprehensive Development Plan

The City of Westminster and Jefferson County governments had created a Comprehensive Development Plan to define the type and intensity of future land use, and an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) adopting the plan. However, the group was dissolved in 2012. Any new applications for development in this area are to follow the standard county review process. The land use recommendations in the North Plains Area of the Comprehensive Master Plan are now in effect for this area.

The Northeast Comprehensive Development Plan was originally adopted by the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners and Westminster City Council in 1996. It was amended in 2006 and adopted by the Westminster City Council on September 25, 2006, and by the Jefferson County Board of County Commissioners on October 17, 2006.
