The Jefferson County Planning & Zoning Division completed a survey of citizens and interested parties who wish to learn more about planning and zoning matters. We received 192 responses both through our online survey as well as hard copy surveys returned to the Division. The survey occurred from June through late July of 2007. Responses received showed strong interest in learning more about planning and zoning topics, terminology, process and citizen's roles in land use decision-making. A total of 15 questions were asked that sought input about where people lived in the county, what topics they would like to learn more about and where any future public outreach meetings might occur.
