Beginning in June 1989, the Indian Hills Improvement Association worked with the Colorado Center for Community Development and a project team formed by the Jefferson County Planning and Zoning Division to draft a community plan to serve as a guide for future development. The Indian Hills Community Plan outlines the vision of the community and provides guidance for the future. The land use goals and recommendations presented in this plan will be considered when evaluating rezoning applications. The plan was adopted by the Jefferson County Planning Commission on December 3, 1997.
