Soils Investigation Forms
Note: The soils investigation form letters are site specific based on a subdivision plat restriction, please contact the Planning and Zoning Division to determine if a form letter is required and if so, which form letter is applicable for your site.

1. Form Letter A - (Used for older subdivisions) Soils Investigation and Foundation Plan completed by same engineer.
2. Form Letter B - (Used for older subdivisions) Soils Investigation and Foundation Plan completed by separate engineers.
3. Form Letter E - Foundation Plan and Subsurface Drainage Plan completed by same engineer.
4. Form Letter F - Foundation Plan and Subsurface Drainage Plan completed by separate engineers.
5. Form Letter M - (Used for newer plats within the Mountains) Foundation Plan and Subsurface Drainage Plan completed by separate engineers.
6. Form Letter U - This form is used to meet the requirements of the following plat note; prior to the rough framing inspection for each lot, a completed Form Letter U is required to verify a physical connection between the perimeter drain and main subsurface groundwater collection system.
