About this Site
There is quite an abundance of printed material and other forms of information that is available from the Planning and Zoning Division. It is our goal to make it all accessible through the Internet. Most of our documents are in the Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format and require Adobe Reader to view or print. Click on the icon below to download the free software. As an alternative, we offer a comprehensive CD-ROM (for Mac and Windows) to the public that contains over 300 documents pertaining to Planning and Zoning.

We hope you find this electronic medium a useful and informative tool. It is an ongoing process of adding new items and updating existing ones with the overall goal of providing better self-help tools in our commitment to quality customer service. Please see What we do: Our Mission, Goals. Check back with us periodically to see how our site develops!
How to Navigate this Site
Similar types of information have been grouped under main categories on left hand menu bar. You can also go to our site map or try our search engine. We have several guides which will walk you through the many processes of planning and zoning in addition to documents such as community plans, intergovernmental agreements and regulations. You may also choose to scan our "Frequently Asked Questions" (FAQ) list to get started. If you don't see your specific question addressed but have a topic in mind you might try "Who ya' gonna call?" which gives phone numbers for different subjects and links to related information. Our "Planning & Zoning Glossary of Terms" can also be useful when trying to understand all the terms used in the planning and zoning processes. You can allways send us your comments.
Good luck and "happy navigating"!
