Monday-Friday7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
DENVER – The Colorado Department of Transportation and the WestConnect Coalition are conducting a Planning and Environmental Linkages study to evaluate and develop short-term and long-term transportation alternatives, and to identify proposed improvements along C-470, between Kipling Street and Interstate 70, and along the US 6/CO 93 corridor between Golden and Boulder. The PEL study will evaluate options to reduce congestion, improve operational performance and safety, and address future transportation needs.
Traffic operations and safety are an increasing concern along the C-470/US 6/CO 93 corridors. In response to these growing challenges, the local agency stakeholders came together to create the WestConnect Coalition. Public input and involvement is essential during this planning effort, and CDOT and Coalition agencies have developed several opportunities for community members to learn about the study and provide feedback.
During a telephone town hall meeting and three public open house meetings, suggestions for transportation improvements along the study area roadways will be solicited to inform the alternatives development process. Members of the public are invited to attend the meeting most convenient for them to discuss the study with project team members.
Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016, 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Residents with a listed phone number in the study area will receive an automated call. If you do not receive a call, or to join via cell phone, call the designated toll-free phone number 1-877-229-8493 at any time during the meeting and enter code 111457 when prompted.
