    The Nurse Family Partnership View exit disclaimer policy page for links to third-party websites. program is a free prenatal and early childhood nurse home visitation program for first-time mothers who meet financial guidelines.

    A Community Health Nurse visits as early in pregnancy as possible and continues through the first two years of the child's life. The nurse works as a partner to support the family in reaching their goals by providing referrals, education and nursing interventions. The program is offered at no cost to the family.

    Goals

    • Improve pregnancy outcomes by helping women adopt healthy behaviors.
    • Improve child health and development by helping parents provide responsible and competent care for their children.
    • Improve economic self-sufficiency by helping parents develop a vision for their own future, plan future pregnancies, continue their education and find employment.
