• Jefferson County's New Brand and Strategy

    New Jeffco logo

Jefferson County is working to strengthen community engagement. A big part of this effort is creating a cohesive, unified standard with a county-wide brand strategy. This new brand was officially launched on April 3, 2017.

The goal of the new brand is to unify county departments and divisions while helping us align with our mission of promoting the health, safety, quality of life and economic opportunities of the residents and businesses of Jeffco through well-managed government. The new brand will also provide a cohesive strategy and structure as the redesigned county website is rolled out in 2017.

The traditional green seal has been updated to a fresh new logo (seen above) that symbolizes the natural beauty and open spaces we enjoy in Jefferson County, which positively impacts the health and well-being of our residents and visitors. You see the mountains, rolling hills and bright blue skies. The grid on the bottom portion of the logo symbolizes the county’s vibrant communities, infrastructure, our range of services and transportation. The grid was taken from an aerial view of roads in Jeffco.

Our strategy is a long-term plan for development, implementation and maintenance of a successful brand to achieve specific goals. A brand is more than just a logo. The logo is just one component. Our brand identity is what Jeffco’s diverse audiences think of when they hear our name.

The strategy and roll-out will be completed in phases, with extensive collaboration planned throughout the process to ensure the diverse needs of each of the county’s departments, divisions, elected and appointed offices, as well as the broader community, are considered.
