    CSU's Native Master Plant Program Summer Courses


    Summer is Just Around the Corner 


    Ready to renew your love of Colorado wildflowers or how about participating in a Plant Treasure Hunt? It’s a great time to get out and enjoy the outdoors while learning about the flowers you see blooming along the trails through the Native Plant Master® Program. We also offer indoor classes on plant families, basic botany and other plant-related topics.

    Below is a sample of some NPM courses and classes. For a complete list, see our Eventbrite site. Register soon as offerings fill quickly. If you would like to receive notices of future openings, contact npmassistant@jeffco.us.

    Native Plant Master Courses:


    Deer Creek Canyon Park – Saturdays May 31, June 7, June 4

    Lair o’ the Bear Park – Monday, June 2, Fridays June 6 and June 13

    Green Mountain – Wednesdays June 4, June 11, and June 18

    Reynolds Park – Saturday, June 7, June 14 and June 21

    Special Classes:

    Plant Families – May 22


    Those completing three NPM Courses are awarded a Native Flora Certificate with no volunteer requirement.
