    Public Affairs fosters cooperation and mutual respect between the Sheriff's Office and the media, maintains a robust community relations program, and keeps internal and external audiences informed on issues of interest.

    The Jefferson County Public Affairs consists of Jacki Kelley, Public Information Director, Mark Techmeyer, Public Information Officer, and Amber Luttrell, Community Relations Manager.  Together, the team provides of 20 years of public affairs experience and has been recognized for their involvement in the Platte Canyon High School shootings, Deer Creek Middle School shootings, Democratic National Convention, Windsor tornado, Alamosa salmonella contamination, Youth With a Mission shootings, the Lower North Fork Fire, Aurora Theater shootings and Jessica Ridgeway's kidnap/murder.

    All media inquiries must be directed to Jacki or Mark, who are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
