    Slew of car trespasses in south Jeffco


    Jefferson County, CO. – On January 16, 2014 at 12:00 p.m., the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 5800 block of W. Roxbury Pl. on a report of two suspicious men who were looking into car windows. Deputies were able to find and arrest both men in the area.

    Derrick Jason Hawkes, (dob 050994) was arrested for suspicion of 1st degree criminal trespass. William Louis Bisson, (dob 040690) was arrested for parole violation.   

    South Jefferson County has experienced over 20 car trespasses since the first of the year. All 20 crimes have been committed to unlocked cars. The Sheriff’s Office is placing variable message signs in neighborhoods to remind citizens to lock their cars.
