Public Fireworks Displays

Due to the high risk of wildfire, the sheriff has enacted a fire ban for all of Jefferson County including federal lands.  We encourage residents who wish to view fireworks to attend one of the following public fireworks displays in the area.  Thank you for doing your part to prevent wildfires.

As of June 15, 2006 the following facilities or events in Jefferson County will have fireworks displays over the fourth of July holidays, with special permits from the sheriff or fire chief:

July 1

• Clement Park, Red White and You event (Littleton area)

July 3

• City of Edgewater annual fireworks show to be held in Citizens Park, event runs from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
• Heritage Square fireworks, start approximately 9:30 p.m.

July 4th

• City of  Arvada, Lutz/Stenger Sports Complex, Field, NW corner of W 58th Ave & Kipling, parking lots open 2 p.m.
• Bandimere Speedway, 3051 South Rooney Road in Morrison, fireworks in conjunction with racing events
• City of Golden, Lyons Park, fireworks start approximately 9:30 p.m.
