Donate Your Cell Phone

Looking for a way to recycle your used cell phone?  You can bring it to any Jefferson County Sheriff's Office location and we will donate it to a crime victim or an elderly citizen via the 911 Cell Phone Bank.  The phones are refurbished and programmed so that users are able to dial 911 in an emergency.

Any type of cell phone is acceptable.  Chargers are not necessary, although they are helpful.

The National Sheriff's Association has endorsed the 911 Cell Phone Bank program.  The nonprofit 911cellphonebank.org has partnered with hundreds of law enforcement and victim services agencies across the United States.  To learn more, visit their Web site.
