Sending Money to an Inmate
There are three ways to get money to an inmate in the Jefferson County Jail. For each of these options you should be prepared with either the inmate's jail identification number or full name and date of birth.
1. Online at Access Corrections. This is the jail's approved online vendor. Create an account on this Web site and then use your credit or debit card to pay.
2. Phone. You may call 1-866-345-1884 and pay with your credit or debit card.
3. In Person. You may come to the jail at 200 Jefferson County Parkway, in Golden, and use cash at the kiosk in the lobby to put money on an inmate's books. You may also bring a U.S. Postal Service money order and provide it to the on-duty lobby staff.
4. Western Union. In-person at a Western Union location. Include the following information:
Pay To: JEFFERSON CTY SHERIFF OFC
Code City: JCSO
State: CO
Account Number: INMATE # + LAST NAME
Attention Field: INMATE FIRST and LAST NAME
Below is a list of fees for each payment method above, based on the total amount paid toward the inmate's books.

Funds applied to an inmate's account may be used for jail fees, including medical co-pays and booking fees, and/or commissary items, such as snacks, cards or games. Money is applied to any outstanding jail fees first before commissary items may be purchased.
