Jefferson County, like most governments, is facing flat revenues and increasing demands for services. The goal of the
Jefferson County Board of Commissioners is to provide the best services possible for the least amount of dollars.
As the annual preparation of the county budget begins, the commissioners are looking for feedback from residents. They used innovative telephone town hall technology to reach
50,000 Jeffco households.
As a part of this town hall meeting, citizens had an
opportunity to provide valuable feedback about which programs
and services are most important to them.
The commissioners answered live questions from callers and
asked polling questions as well.
