    Evergreen Trails Master Plan

    About the Project

Finalized in December 2015, the Evergreen Trails Master Plan is a grant-funded project to establish the vision of a cohesive trail network in the core of the Evergreen community. The Plan details a network of trails and on-street bicycle and pedestrian facilities that links Evergreen’s parks, open space, schools, and community assets. While the Plan is not a county-adopted planning document, it is a community-vetted reference that prioritizes near-term and long-term phased implementation of recommended improvement projects to increase mobility and recreational options and to improve access, safety and comfort for the community.

    Funding and Project Partners

This project was funded by a Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) Planning Grant and managed by the Downtown Evergreen Economic District (DEED) and Jefferson County Transportation and Engineering. OV Consulting conducted the study and managed the team of consultants. Other Partners included Jefferson County Planning and Zoning, Jefferson County Open Space, Evergreen Parks and Recreation District, and Denver Mountain Parks.
