    2015 Safety Improvement Program Crash Analyses

    The purpose of the the 2015 Safety Improvement Program was to comprehensively evaluate accidents that occurred on roadways and at intersections in Jefferson County. These analyses will assist Jefferson County Transportation and Engineering with recommending specific improvements that could reduce the frequency and severity of accidents on Jeffco roadways. 2015 Crash Analyses Adobe Reader is required for viewing this document

    Jefferson County Volume and Capacity Ratio Map

    The 2012 and 2035 Volume/Capacity Ratio Maps show the level of congestion for Jefferson County and Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) roadways.     Congestion levels for this Jefferson County analysis are defined below: 

    Low congestion - volume/capacity ratio of 0.8 to 0.99
    Moderate congestion - volume/capacity ratio of 0.9 to 0.99
    Heavy congestion - volume/capacity ratio of 1.0 to 1.29
    Severe congestion - volume/capacity ratio of greater than 1.30
