This is a list of all overbids over $500.00 which were paid at the Public Trustee foreclosure sales and were transferred to the County Treasurer.  These funds are held by the Treasurer for 5 years or until claimed by the owner. These funds may be claimed only by the owner of record.  The Treasurer asks that proof of ownership be submitted to our office for review by the county attorneys.  Once the documents are accepted by our attorneys, a claim form will need to be completed and notarized.  We do not start with a claim form as each situation is unique.  For information regarding a claim to these funds, please contact the Treasurer's office at 303-271-8330.

Colorado does not conduct tax sales and therefore has no overbids from tax sales. Each county does conduct an annual tax lien sale, but any overbid is retained by the county as a premium on the sale.
