 The Jefferson County Weed and Pest Management program assists the public in developing integrated management plans for the control of mountain pine beetle and noxious weeds. We coordinate efforts with other governmental agencies to achieve regional pest control. Part of our program includes working with the Jefferson County Open Space Natural Resources section.
This site includes information regarding the identification, control, and prevention of mountain pine beetle and noxious weed infestations. We hope to assist you in becoming better acquainted with weed and pest problems while additionally offering direction to solutions.
